Something New

For the first time in my life,

I've done something,

I would never had imagined.
I met a girl, who leaves me speechless,

Her actions, her words, they're so direct,

Her courage and her strength is unimaginable to me.
Though she's younger, she's almost taller than me,

But I won't let her be taller than me, so I'll keep jumping,

And one day I'll succeed and not only be taller but smarter as well.
Go figure, that life always lets me be friends,

With people who are about to leave me,

But I know this time, that I won't lose this friend.
